PROZAC VS POTATOES

Okay….duly noted…some foods have an effect on our brain chemistry.
A cup of coffee or a glass of wine…pack more mood altering power.
Eating pure carbohydrate can cause a shift in a person’s mood….calm you down…cheer you up…wow…..
Carbs are known to calm jumpy nerves…they start a chain of events that result in more trythophan entering the brain…[this is one of the building blocks of protein] good stuff!
Now we all know that when we are stressed out we reach for the pasta, the popcorn or the bagels…yes yes yes….we know about the damn calories..but hey if your world is falling apart…pop a potato in the microwave…and see if you dont feel a whole lot better….
Clearly this has to beat the hell out of taking drugs…
